This legislation mandates that all private universities in Gujarat must seek accreditation from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The Gujarat Assembly on Saturday unanimously passed the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2O23, amending Section 34 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009.
