The CBSE board exams are set to undergo a transformation, with exams scheduled to be conducted biannually, as announced by the Minister of Education. This strategic move aims to reduce exam stress and provide students with two opportunities to excel each year.

NEP 2020: The board exams will assess the understanding and achievement of competencies rather than months of coaching and memorisation, the minister said.
